Every year millions of parents choose a summer camp for their child for the experience they will have, or based on their own summer camp experience. Each camper comes home after the summer with life-long friends and memories, but they also arrive home with many other life skills garnered over the summer that they can take back to school.

Campers learn independence, problem-solving and teamwork, all while having tons of FUN! As the school year starts, we wanted to share a few helpful reminders for parents and campers for the countdown days to next summer.

Confidence

Throughout your camper’s summer camp session(s), they have tried new activities, adventures and been successful. They will take this confidence and feel empowered for the school year.

Curiosity

Summer camp gives the opportunity to explore, study and observe in an experiential learning environment.  The beauty of camp are the lessons learned without even realizing it.  Feed that curiosity and encourage continued exploration.

Character

Character building occurs by showing respect for their fellow campers, through their sense of community and in their ability to problem-solve.  Celebrate your child’s character and the positive choices they make.

What better way to show off your summer camp skills then to bring Pali Adventures back to school. This fall we will be running a social media contest for all Pali Adventure campers to show their Pali swag at school. There will be a prize giveaway and shout-out for the winner. Pali Adventures is an overnight summer camp for kids ages 8-16, located in Southern California near Los Angeles.
