Nice to Meet You, Roast!

What is your story?

Hi i’m Roast and i came to camp for the first time in 2017 in the action sports specialty. I’m actually a children’s nurse for my day job and work in London. I was one of those students who went to uni at 18 and then went straight to work and never had a break so decided after 2 and a half years of work in the NHS I deserve a  break and Pali offered just that!

How did you first find out about Pali?

I was approached by Pali when applying to work at a summer camp through Camp America.

What are you most excited about #Palicamp18?

I can’t wait to see all the kids from last year who made such an impact on me and that I still remember to this day!
All the changes that have been made to make Pali EVEN BETTER… if that’s even possible!

What do you LOVE about Pali?

Pali is one big family with counsellors and kids coming from all over the world, bringing all their cultures and traditions to camp… hence why i got the name roast… i wouldn’t stop going on about how good roast dinners were and about the dreams that are yorkshire puddings… i even did an evening activity making them with the kids!  The mountains and being away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city!
