The Journey of a Pali Adventures Camper – Part 2

The journey continues…

Last week we ventured into the story of one lucky camp winner. In April, Pali Adventures ran an on-air contest for a prize giveaway with ABC Channel 7 in Los Angeles, sponsored by Frontier Cable. One lucky parent entered and won a week at camp for their camper, Shane.

Shane is a first time camper to Pali Adventures and was not sure what to expect. So, his family made a fun-filled day to come visit Pali to see what we are all about.

They started the day by taking a tour of our pristine property, visiting Pali’s, dining, accommodations, facilities, wellness center and activity areas. They also spoke with our helpful parent liaisons to decide what session and specialty to choose.

Shane is trying to decide between spending his session at the lake with watersports, mastering up some awesome beats in DJ, or expanding his natural talents in acting. Along with deciding his specialty, Shane’s younger brother, Adam, is now very interested in coming to camp with his older sibling. The summer camp bug has been going around with arrival day for session one less than three weeks away!

Adam fell in LOVE with Pali on their trip and wants to make another journey to Pali to experience it all over again before summer camp starts! He loved the energy and guidance from the summer camp counselors and by the time he left, he was already missing Pali and the people.

“Everything was so lovely at Pali and the staff are so caring and accommodating,” said Shane’s mom.  “We are super impressed and grateful to get this chance to experience this camp through the contest win.  I had never heard of Pali until we entered this contest. Very exciting! I never thought they would fall in love like they did on our trip.”
